Why a blog?
I hate blogs. Then again, I’m also a hypocrite. So I must confess, much as I hate to participate in the oh-so-trendy, this is indeed my blog. Or perhaps it’s just an impromptu collection of writings that don’t really belong anywhere else. As I write, I have no purpose nor agenda; I just want to share a little bit of myself with someone nameless and faceless, somewhere far away, for no particular reason at all.
At least that’s how I feel today. Maybe tomorrow I’ll want all this to vanish into internet obscurity, the words forever deleted (or embarrassingly archived), since they hardly matter to anyone but me. Maybe tomorrow my life will change for the better, and all my problems will melt into nothingness. Maybe tomorrow I will get back to the sort of technical writing I was trained to do in the first place. I don’t know.
But today, I choose to write here, so the blog exists.
